New obligations nearly always land in bookkeeping, in the warehouse or in the CRM: electronic invoicing, reporting deadlines, retention, proof along the supply chain. Keep your data in your own house and you can follow such changes yourself, instead of waiting for a cloud vendor's next release.

That is exactly what we build: two programs, both self-hosted on your server, running on PostgreSQL with no data flowing to third parties — Formata (CRM and business processes; forms and workflows change without programming) and Meridian (stock and inventory, free forever for up to ten seats).
